The Fine Print
Booking policies
I don’t take deposits, and there are no surprises here, just a few simple courtesies that keep a one-chair studio running on time for everyone.
Cancellations
24hours notice
Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel. Late cancellations and no-shows may mean I ask for prepayment to secure your next booking.
I don’t take deposits, so there’s nothing to forfeit. A cancelled appointment just sits empty unless someone else can take it, and the earlier you let me know, the easier it is to fill.
Rescheduling
12hours notice
Reschedule with 12 or more hours notice and I’ll move your appointment to the next time that suits us both.
A quick text or email is all it takes. There are no forms to fill in, and I’d always rather move an appointment than lose it.
Late Arrivals
10minute grace period
There’s a 10-minute grace period. After that I may need to simplify or shorten your service so the next client isn’t kept waiting.
If you’re running behind, please message me. It’s a one-chair studio, so a heads-up lets me plan the version of your service we can finish properly.
Gift Vouchers
3years valid
Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, in line with Australian Consumer Law.
There’s more detail on the gift vouchers page. Just mention your voucher when you send a booking request, and I’ll take care of the rest.
Payment
There’s no deposit to book. I confirm your appointment personally and trust you to turn up, and payment happens on the day, by card or cash, whichever suits you.
There are no hidden extras and I won’t upsell you in the chair. Have a look at the services I offer, tell me what you’re after when you request a time, and I’ll let you know what to expect before your appointment is confirmed.
Still Have a Question?
If anything here is unclear, just ask. I’d always rather answer a question than have you guess.
